| I Got Caught Stealing Baseball Cards |

Have you ever stolen anything even in your youth regardless of the size?
We have been sharing on how to use the 10 commandments in your evangelistic efforts to drive your listener like a schoolmaster to Christ.
3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Today we will quickly share with you how to use the 8th commandment, You shall not steal.
I remember as a young boy walking through our community's convenient store and stealing a pack of baseball cards with gum inside. As I precociously walked out of the store, to my alarm, a manager followed me outside and asked me to empty my pockets. You can only imagine how my heart was racing as they called my mom to come and pick me up. The real scary part was not having my mom pick me up but I fretted the next set of words that would come out of her mouth, "Wait until your father hears about this!" I knew judgement was inevitable and he was going to minister to me by the laying on of hands!
Whether you steal a piece of gum as a boy, cheat on your tests in high school, cheat on your tax return, or steal time from your boss at work while you are on the internet, stealing is stealing. So here is how you can use this commandment to bring conviction to your lost friend and to show them they have sinned against God and then offer them the remedy for their disease, Jesus Christ.
You can say, "Have you ever stolen anything even in your youth and regardless of the size? If you steal a $100 bill out of my wallet or a $1 bill is irrelevant. Either way it is stealing! If it was in your youth like me, time doesn't forgive sin. You might have forgotten but God hasn't! Thieves don't go to heaven so you can see your need of a savior." 6:10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
You will sometimes see proud, put together people who pay their mortgage, have the picket fence in front of their yard, come under conviction as the Holy Spirit prepares them for Christ!
