A girl sleeps around with every one of the many boyfriends she has, so she's a slut. But what if you look into her life? She's never been told she could to anything with her life. Never been told she was worth anything. So she gives sex for love because she longs to feel worth. But guys treat her like a piece of meat because that's how she presents herself. And with each lover, her senses are dulled more.
A boy shows up to school still half way bombed from the night before. This isn't uncommon for him. He's a stoner. Why does he matter? He shouldn't be throwing his life away. But he doesn't care. He can't find a purpose in his life. He doesn't even care if he forgets who he is. He never figured that out anyway.
One chick goes around telling every bit of information she hears to everyone she comes in contact with. It's almost always bad stuff. Is it true? Ah, it depends on the day. If news is slow, then it doesn't really matter if it's true or not. What a jerk, huh? Well, at least it got her friends to listen to her.
People do bad things for a reason. Now don't get me wrong. It's still sin. I'm not into dismissing things because they're just victims of their environment. But maybe we should see people not just for who they are, but for who they could be. Don't give up on them yet. |
