Doyle, I'll give you a hearty amen! We take care of a couple of horses, we've seen (and smelled)their stalls after a couple of days of neglecting "mucking" them...nasty!! So it is easier for us now to imagine what the atmosphere most likely was like for the Lord's human birth. Wow is all I can say. The full deity of God Almighty was in this child, in this "mean estate", all for you and me...... Wow!

God bless you Doyle! Best blog I've read all day! ~mike

Very interesting. Your comment, "The Shepherds were the first to know for it was their job to watch the unblemished lambs for The Temple. They came to see The Great Shepherd,King of Kings,The Lamb of God. They were the first to tell the Good News. Now do you think it's our turn to tell all The Good News? The Lamb of God came to save us" is a very good point.

This is great!  Thanks for sharing. I think too, that God the Father had His son, Jesus born in a lowly setting to make His point and confound the wise.  And it's as if showing us how Jesus humbled Himself from the get-go.
