| Your Sin Will Find You Out! |

When will the mercy of God run out? How many long can I keep sinning before it's over?
Here is a quick testimony that hit close to home.Yesterday I wrote about pointing out specific sin in our evangelistic efforts and how much of the convicting of the Holy Spirit is done through preaching.
Ever since I was a boy, I would break into Mom and Dad's liquour cabinet, pull out a Playboy and get my kicks with the neighborhood boys. My parents were nudists and would bring my 5 year old sister and myself to nudist colonies from Florida to Canada. As a teenager, late night HBO would feed my sexual passion which lead into an addiction of pornography and pre marital sex known as fornication. At the time I knew nothing about God, sin, heaven or hell, nothing. I don't even remember hearing the name of Jesus until my college days. Once in college and in my early twenties, masturbation and more sex outside marriage became part of my every day routine. I was addicted!
Then I heard about Jesus. I gave my heart to Him and got married to my best friend for life. Nothing really changed in the area of pornography. I was driven, looking for it wherever I could. Sneaking around with late night television, magazines, and just about anything to fuel the addiction became the norm. The Holy Spirit was dealing with me to the point that I would even shake under conviction as I masturbated. But still no change until finally one Sunday in an Assembly of God church in Connecticut. I would never be the same again.
As a young leader in the church, I walked in with my best blue, double breasted suit, my slicked back hair, and my Bible under my arms. I sat in the very front row because I was hungry for the Word and loved to be in the middle of the ministry at the altar. That day Pastor Steve preached a message that will forever have changed my life. Your sin will find you out! He talked about Sampson and how after many dealings with God, he chose to keep sinning and of course so had I. As I sat there, 3 feet from the altar, the Spirit said to me, you could lose everything over this. My salvation, my marriage, my ministry, and everything that is precious to me over some naked chicks that are being used by the devil! (The Bible says over and over, the sexually immoral will not inherit the kingdom of God) It just wasn't worth it! You want to know what the big battle was in my proudful mind. I had two big holes in my shoes and I thought, "If I go to the altar and kneel down, everybody will see the two big holes in the bottom of my shoes!" Pride sure does stink and I had lots of it!
Anyways, I said enough is enough! I ran to altar and poured my heart out to God! I was so sorry for sinning against Him and my wife! I cried like I have never cried before! It was true heart felt repentance! I cried out to Him, "I don't want it anymore! I am turning from it but God you have to take this thing from me!" My Pastor noticed the scene I was making and came over and hugged me asking if everything was OK. I said,"Yes, I just needed to nip some sin in the bud." God responded to me and by His grace, He took the addiction and the control that thing had on me and to this day, I am free!(doesn't mean I still don't have to avoid temptation but the power and control of it is gone)
So again, yes the Holy Spirit was dealing with me in advance but I am thankful to a Pastor for preaching a message about sin that God would use to altar my destiny forever, Your Sin Will Find You Out! So whether you are a Pastor or not, work with the Holy Spirit as a co-laborer and let God use you to point out sin that people may come under conviction, repent, walk free from sin and live pleasing to the Lord!
6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So as you are reading this, are you involved in sexual sin? Your sin will find you out! You might be able to run for a while, but no matter what happens in the economy, the wage for sin is still death. Their is a place where the mercy of God runs out so why not deal with it now! Get real with God, run to Him now and ask Him to set you free! He did it for me and He can do it for you! Father, I pray that you would convict everyone who is choosing any kind of sexual sin right now. Show them the gravity of it and the death it is and will cause. Give them grace to repent and save and forgive them Lord, set them free right now! I say freedom to all the captives in Jesus' name! Be free right now in Jesus' name and we look forward to hearing your testimony of the grace of God! Love ya in Jesus' name! God is sooooooooooooo good! |

| A very good message! Sexual sins included the sin of adultery being committed through remarriage after divorce during the life time of the other spouse divorced.Job Anbalagan |

I walked around in sin for many years, in my own addictions.Even after I too found Jesus Christ, I still controled my will.Thank God I am free from all that bondage!!!My sin caught up with me, and I too almost lost everything!I am grateful I am forgiven as I have also forgiven myself.God Blessand again THANK YOU!!!!! |

| Yep, this is true. Nope, no sexual sin. Lots of other struggles though! lol My parents had that "Be sure your sin will find you out" posted on a wall in our home growing up, and it always scared me! lol Now i find myself saying it sometimes. Thanks for sharing this. My last "big" addiction prior to salvation was in this area. Praise God! He set me free. |

| We must humble repent of our sins and then Our Father will forgive us... and when God forgives it is forgotten. I believe the whole Bible and when My Father forgives me it is done. The sad truth is that when it comes to forgiveness, a lot of Christians want to quote sciptures showing you as still being guilty of a particular sin from you past.. Thank you Father was washing me white as snow. |

| Thanks for sharing your personal testimony.....I ahve dealt with addictions also...just this weekend....I now know that I can be forgiven and be set free from these chains....The Lord has used you because I really needed confomation from him and this was it.... |

| This is very powerful and may the Lord bless you abundantly for such a bold testimony and confession. Yes, our sin will find us out! I need to get this deeply imprinted in my heart and impress on me the absolute fear of God.And there is no excuse for 'besetting sins' either. [Heb 12.1]. [Oh, how easily our heart deceives us in this respect!] May the Lord bless your vibrant ministry wherever you are! May you encourage and strengthen many here in MyChurch.
