And I am having a....

Hi All! Boy oh Boy! And I mean BOY! A boy is due in this house May 9, 2008. I still want to name him Beowulf but I seem to make people speechless when I mention that one. The doctor said that my cancer is low-grade and is contained in the uterus. There is nothing to be done until the baby is born. Being pregnant is actually very healthy for my cancer because I have a lot more white blood cells than usual b/c of the amount of blood pumping to make this little one so my body is actually fighting the cancer naturally at this point. They will not be doing anymore biopsies because it causes bleeding and they do not want to harm the baby. (I need to get used to saying, "my son"). As for my pre-existing heart condition, the regurgitation is minimal considering I have a bad case of mitral valve prolapse. It also is doing better b/c of the increased blood flow. Thank you all for your prayers and please keep them up! Much Love, Annie who loves being girly and has not a clue on how to raise a boy but at least likes sports Everett

Thanks for the update, Annie. I did not know you were going through this. Our prayers are with you. And hey, after raising two boys, I can tell you with ALL certainty....NO ONE knows how to raise boys! You just pray and take one day at a time on faith. They are alot of fun, and a lot of work! I cast my vote that you name your boy Beowulf! God bless, have a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Congrats on finding out it's a boy! There is nothing like the relationship between a mother and son, especially when you experience them opening doors for you, carrying things for you, just like your husband! What a blessing! I'm so glad "Beowolf" is helping you fight the cancer. He sounds like a warrior already! Love, Janette

Lord, I lift Annie and Beowolf up to you. Please do You will in this situation. If Your asking me for input: I ask that You heal Annie's body of cancer; that Beowolf be healthy; and that You acheive everything You wish to in this situation. Thanks for listening, Jesus. |

I will pray that your son is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING like Charlie. I don't know what I did, but apparently it took from 18 months til now to fix it. But, I lived through it, and knowing you, you'll make it too! I will keep on praying for you. I had no idea about the heart condition, but now that I do, I will add it to the list... 1: Keep Beowulf's mommy healthy, 2: Keep Beowulf healthy and safe, and now 3: Get Beowulf's mommy's heart and belly "all betters" (as Charlie would say). Love, Amanda
