How should a husband treat his wife?
18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD. 9:9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of thy life of vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all thy days of vanity: for that is thy portion in life, and in thy labor wherein thou laborest under the sun. 5:21 subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ. 3:7 Ye husbands, in like manner, dwell with `your wives' according to knowledge, giving honor unto the woman, as unto the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your prayers be not hindered. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 55:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. Husbands should love their wives sacificially, with the depth of love that Crist showed when he died for us. How should a wife treat her husband?
31:11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 31:12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing. Ephesians 5:22-24 A wife should love her husband sacificially, heling and supporting him, believing in him, and submitting to him. What is the importance of loyalty in a marriage?
2:15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. God commands husbands and wives to be loyal to one another. He does not merely suggest this.
5:15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well. 5:18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Proverbs 5:15-18 7:3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 7:4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 1 Corinthians 7:3-4 13:4 Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Husbands and wives must be faithful to each other, seeking to satisfy and honor each other. PROMISE FROM GOD
5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. All I can say is that my marriage has been a wonderful gift from God. We have our day's, but that's why we are still together. We went through alot together, From getting Sober together, relaping together, to getting sober again together. Building a house together, Going through the death of two of our teenagers together, and I could go on and on. I think the most important thing is that it is together we can! With a lot of compromising.
