I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest.

That is too awesome!  If we believers actually acted with a little emotional maturity, there wouldn't be enough church buildings to hold us!

Great list Diana! Man I have definitely thought of some of these at one time or another. Thanks for posting this!

Mary, I love those little \o/ guys you made. Neat!

Jess, good point about "emotional maturity". And how about some spiritual maturity too, while we're all at it!

Great blog, ds I love the list and totally agree, when we act like Christ, we show the true spirit of Christmas.
Thanks for the reminders.

Good point Mike.  Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, in favor with God, and favor with man.  In other words Jesus, who is our model, grew mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially.  Social development is pretty closely linked to emotionaly development.

This is so good.  I was just thinking that same thing when there was an issue with either the politcal race or a movie that was coming out.  There is a quote that my son's group (FCA) has on their shirts "Why blame the dark for being dark?"  It then asks about us being light to the dark world rather than blaming them for being dark and blind.  I don't remember it exactly.

This is so good.  We are so quick to try to fix the externals like making the dark celebrate Jesus' birth.  But we forget that the inside needs to be redeemed.  We also forget that the blindness of the dark is not something we can argue them out of. I speak to myself as well.

Merry Christmas!  Thanks for your excellent reminder!  Your brother in Christ, Brent
