I just woke up Tuesday morning, barely my eyes were open when the Lord began to speak to me. The Lord said "There is a strong wind coming!" I was like what?; what kind of wind and what does that have to do with us Lord? I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I decided to have my morning prayer and bible study before work. God started to show me some more things and I would like to share them with you. I was finishing up the Last chapter of Micah, as I was reading the Lord started to speak to me again about the wind. I know this chapter don't have anything to do with about what I am fixing to type but this is what the Lord shared with me as I was reading. When the wind blows, its going to seem like a present that is all wrapped up with fancy wrapping paper and bows. The present looks good and/or tastes good, but when you on wrap it and the wind blows the paper a way, it don't look good nor tastes good and the present could lead us down the road of destruction. Lord is and will be our Light in the darkness; only if we keep our eyes on and ears listening to the Lord, his Light then will shine through. If we aren't careful the present could deceive us because our eyes have fallen and refuse to listen to the voice of the Lord. The next day, I was still in awe on what the Lord said the day before and He wasn't finish. I pray then open my bible to do some studying and thought I would read the Micah but realized I was finished with it, so the Lord lead to me read Nahum. I love the first chapter. God is jealous and so to anger but He will allow the strong wind that is comming to seprate the wheat from the tares. 1:3 The LORD [is] slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit [the wicked]: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds [are] the dust of his feet. When I read this verse Nahum 1:3, I was like wow. • verb (acquitted, acquitting) 1 formally declare that (someone) is not guilty of a criminal charge. 2 (acquit oneself) behave or perform in a specified way. — DERIVATIVES acquittal noun. — ORIGIN Latin acquitare ‘pay a debt’, from quitare ‘set free’. The Lord then said to me "I will not equip the wicked with power or devices to come against His people nor find them not guilty. The Lord has His way in the storm; the strong wind is under His feet and the Lord has the power and He will equip His people to be able to stand and fight in the storm if they listen, hear, and obey Him and not take their eyes off of God. The saints must have a clean and pure heart and life and the Lord will be their strong Tower in the day of trouble and He will know them that trust in Him and do according to His word. If the saints take off their eyes off the Lord and refuse to heed to His voice; they will fall with the wicked. Lets keep our hearts and minds pure and clean and our eyes fixed firmly on the Lord so we don't fall like the wicked. God called us to be the salt of the earth. Lets be the salt so others will see the Light that is with-in us. Don't let the storm or present deceive us, but instead let the Light of Jesus shine upon our path in the midst of the Storm. |
