I like what you said.

And I believe very much in 'abiding in Jesus, rejoicing in Jesus, experiencing Jesus Christ as my very life'

Great blog. Keep writing about what you see in prayer and about prayer, and abiding in Him.

I think our savior calls us to intimacy.
5:7 Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you.

At the oddest moments we seem to pray sometimes (in the kitchen, walking, jogging, shopping for groceries, etc).  We have set up rituals where we routinely pray (in the morning, in the car) but the Holy Spirit is pushing us further to communicate with OUR SAVIOR. Our SAVIOR is constantly revealing his love, his will, his purpose through prayer, dreams, meditation.

He is urging us to come closer to him and to others through love and deeds. LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU.  I can remember a time when I heard nothing from my FATHER and I am so thankful that he has chosen to accept me(as I am) to hear his voice of comfort and joy and peace.  I am thankful that he has chosen to guide me daily and to let me know that he loves me regardless of what I have done and will do. I am thankful that he answers my prayers and my prayers for others whom I know and do not know.

Our fruits are revealed through our actions and our commitment to JESUS.  We may not know a lot of times that something good has come from some action that we have taken(that's OK). We stay on the road of commitment to do as OUR FATHER has commanded us to do, LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU. Praying for one another is one of the greatest gifts that we have.  It brings about a joy, peace, commitment to the body of CHRIST that surpasses all of the worldly things(for lack of a better word).

Continue to pray and write about your thoughts and revelations.  He is sending a message through you to others who need to hear that particular word on that particular day.  He is growing and drawing you closer to him and revealing truth to others.

MUCH LOVE

He does call us to intimacy!

Have you ever read the book, "The Jesus I Never Knew" by Phillip Yancey?

Good word Dave. Thanks for sharing it.

I use the term "press in" often. The context I use it is described in the old testament camp.  Those that camped on the outskirts were often subject to attacks from the enemy. However, those who "pressed in" and pitched their tent in the midst of the camp were always more protected. I use the old testament natural example of a spritual lesson we need now. If we press in to Him and not pitch our tent on the edges of His will, but put it right smack in the center, then we are protected and the enemy gains no stronghold.

Just a thought...

Thanks Voice I believe that's very true.  I'm coming to find out if I make the effort in the morning to seek his will.  My day goes better and there are fewer regrets at night.  Merry Christmas one and all
