GOSPEL BLITZ DEC. 31 NEW YEAR'S EVE
I want to announce a Gospel Blitz to wrap up 2007 and lead us into 2008. Here's what we are going to do. All of us in the MyChurch world are going to ask the Lord for an opportunity on Monday, Dec 31st, New Year's Eve, to share the gospel and give somebody the opportunity to get saved! What a way to end 2007 and break into 2008 with a huge group of us all believing and committing to evangelism. What is a blitz? In football a blitz is when everybody on the defensive team in total abandonment focuses their efforts to goes after the quarterback. On Monday, Dec 31, we are all going to collectively focus our efforts to go to the lost in total abandonment. There's something about when you team up in agreement in the Lord. We can do more together than we can apart.
When we put a date on an activity like, Dec. 25, Christmas day, we begin to make preparations and BAM this whole Christmas thing happens. On New Year's Eve, people watch the ball drop and BAM, we begin something new. When an Olympic sprinter gets into his on your marks position, it's the sound of the gun, BAM, they begin to run. So in a collective passion to see people meet Jesus, this Monday we are going to sound the gun and believe in faith that the Lord is going to open a door of opportunity to share the gospel, the boldness to do it, and we are going to trust him for the results. We are going to see many people hear the glorious saving, healing, and delivering gospel of Jesus Christ. Amen!
So this weekend, let's begin to pray in faith for this. You might pray for a lost loved one, a coworker you know you are going to see on New Year's Eve, a neighbor, or just an opportunity with a new friend. These people might not hear the gospel if you don't tell them. They might not be alive for 2008. I believe God is going to open incredible doors and you are going to sense a strong empowerment to share your faith.

I believe you will blown away with what Jesus will do and you will also see a great momentum in evangelism for 2008 in your own life. Come on Jesus! Yes, I will start praying now that the Lord will lead me to one special contact whom He will prepare. I will take my EE Tracts along to work and beg the Lord for a chance to share with someone...perhaps even a customer who might engage me in conversation (that has happened once or twice where I was able to share my faith and plant seeds.) This Christmas I was able to give four plates of cookies and Christmas cards loaded with a gospel letter, and two tracts to my managers and one employee from Bangladesh. (With this last one, my letter explained the difference between Buddhism and Christianity...with an appeal to accept the One who personally got involved with humans to save them from sin and YES THERE IS SIN, and to prepare for them a definite wonderful place to live eternally:HEAVEN AS GOD DESCRIBES IT IN THE BIBLE.)
Truly we have the glorious, hope-filled future to look forward to...and an exciting life RIGHT NOW!
Evangelism makes it exciting. When will people start to realize that! |

I pray that our God use me in a bold out spoken way so when I open my month it's not me speaking it;s the anionting of the Holy Ghost speaking for me, that will lead many to Christ, to live eternally with the Father Amen |
