Do you have a reason to be afraid? Heres how to know.
14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
Many times I've heard people say "I hope I don't move" or something that involved "I hope". Usually i tell them not to even worry about it and that God's will is God's will. This verse seems to back me up. If you truly know the Lord, and have truly confessed upon Him and asked His forgiveness, then don't worry; but if you haven't be afraid. If you believe in Him then and have met the standards that He set and I just stated, then you have a home in heaven and nothing can ever change that. If you believe in Him then you know he can't tell you a lie, if this is true then there IS a place for you. A mansion. You never have to fear, because no matter what he will always be there. Jesus will come again, and though we don't know when the count down is getting lower everyday. If you believe and have met His standards then you have nothing to worry about. If you haven't He will deal with you. God is loving; He wants to know you the question is do you want to know Him? If you do then follow the instructions at the bottom; if you don't the count down just got lower. There are many prophecies foreshadowing his second coming; one says that all will have heard before he comes.
God does want to know you.
3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Admit that you have a need.
3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Believe that Jesus is God, the Son, who paid the wages of your sin
6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Call upon God.
10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
