I'm So Sick of Love Songs!

Oh, this is cool. I can write a blog! Ok, well, this isn't really Christian, but I just need to say this right now, and what better than on a blog! Ok, well, if u go to search all the cool songs right now, in case you didn't notice: THEY ALL ARE ABOUT LOVE AND GUYS AND GIRLS! Now, there are some songs that are ok because it is just abuot a little breakup and stuff. But there are some songs, that are totally like, going to have sex and everything. :o
     Now, I know you might like some songs that maybe sing about that. I mst admit, I am in <3 with "Good Life", which is geared toard a girl.But, I just worry about other girls, especily non-Christian, who let this stuff truely sink into their minds. How horrible!
     My last note: Why do all the song writers in this world think that if they relate to their song, no one will like it? Garbage! I garentee, that someone out in the world has the same problem that they are facing!
     Jst a little thought of mine i needed to get out. Tell me what you think.:D

Rachie_rach, I agree with you. I enjoy hip-hop music, but I'm very limited to what I am willing to listen to because of the lyrics. I don't like it when they talk very candidly about sex and how they make girls and women objects to use as they like. KJ 52 has some great lyrics and I like listening to his music. The way I look at it is this: If Jesus were to return while you're listening to lyrics full of sex, violence, and demeaning to women, would he be pleased? I don't think so. Also, is listening to this music glorifying to God? I don't think so. Thank you for blogging about this subject. Love, Ms. Janette

i completey agree w/ ya rach!!! all these grossso nastyo songso are the worst thing for ya! they are disgusting i wish people would realize that not everything in this world should be about sex and dating thats not why jesus died for us...... we should be living out the word of god through every aspect of our lives including music!

yeah rach i know what you mean but i only usually listen to rock... my favorite bands are thousand foot krutch, skillet, and kutless. and those guys are all christians
