Joey,

Thanks for your comment.  I am not exactly sure what God will have me write about, but I believe that no matter what...it will be good.  Just because He is!  ~Jeremy

Great thoughts Jeremy.
I love that God encompasses all of our concepts of love, Gregory of Nazianus said, "That which was not assumed is not healed; but that which is united to God is saved" . I believe srongly that this includes all that we are, emotion, love, empathy, all those things that allow the "romantic" to be manifest. Too bad we don't also have His sinlessness to clarify our failings in these areas, but that's why He is called Redeemer, and why the Holy Spirit is about the buisiness of healing, comforting, and perfecting.
I pray that this year God will give you a gift for falling deeply, head over heels, in love with Him. May He also grant that this gift flows out, informs and enlightens, and brings healing to those around you, that you be like that "city on the hill" and shine with His glory.

Dennis,
Thank you for your comment.  I have never heard of Mr. Gregory of Nazianus, but I will have to look him up.  There are some things that God has been showing me which will be in upcoming blogs, but I will share one thought with you today.

These are the days of the romance between the Bride and the Bridegroom....these are the days where we as the church must fall back in love with Jesus.  For there can be no wedding between the two, unless the Bride and the Bridegroom are passionately pursuing one another in a realm of pure and total romance.

I will write more about this in another blog!  ~Jeremy

Jeremy,
Gregory is part of a family of Bishops in the early church, he waas the theologian of the bunch. You might also look up the poetry of Ephriam the Syrian, he talks about some of those same longings, and his poetry tends to have a prophetic feel to it's tone. I'll look forward to see how God fleshes this out in your life.
