| Who Am I? |

Who am I? Lately I have find myself asking this question more than ever before. Who am I that God would give His only son to die on an old rugged cross for my sins? Who am I that God would see past my faults and see my heart? Who am I that He would care enough to give me all of Him when I don't deserve it?
God has blessed me a way that I can't even begin to describe in the past week. He has given me the one thing I have wanted for such a long time, yet He gave it to me in a way that I cannot begin to comprehend. He has given me Him, His love, His companionship, His grace, and His strength. Most of all He has given me peace to know that He holds me in His hand and that He is in control over my life. All I have to do is stand still and wait for Him to move when He is ready. I don't have to worry about my future because He knows that plans He has for me and mostly importantly, the work He has for me to do. Sometimes we become frustrated when it seems as though God isn't going to answer our prayers. We give up so easily. What we fail to see is that God's way isn't always ours and His way of answering our prayers may be completely different than what we expect, but His way is perfect. It just leaves me wondering "who am I?"
I am amazed that He would care so much for me and that He would give me such a gift even though I have disappointed Him time and time again. I am humbled when I think of how much He cares for me. He sees every tear I cry and He knows me better than I know myself. I could never praise Him enough for all that He has done for me. I want nothing more than to bring glory to Him and for His will to be done in my life. God loves us so much and all He wants us to do is submit to His Lordship. Let Him be the Lord of your life and let Him direct your steps.
So my message for everyone this year is simple. When you feel like God has forsaken you and you don't understand why he isn't answering your prayers, stop and remember His love for you. Remember that He knows the plans He has for you and trust Him. Trust that His ways are better and His way is perfect. Be quiet and stand still and when you least expect it you may find that He has answered your prayer in His way, not yours. Praise Him even when you don't feel like it. Afterall, He is definitely worthy.
10:23O LORD, I know that the way of man [is] not in himself: [it is] not in man that walketh to direct his steps. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
