| Goal Achieved! |
|
| |
Today I was privileged to experience one of my life’s goals: to teach at the university level. It has been a long journey, but now, in hindsight, it was worth it. After several years of undergraduate and graduate work the day finally arrived. During this time I have learned that goals are important.
However, as I reflect on how I arrived at this point, the journey actually began 18 years ago when I got saved. Prior to that, the pursuit of academics was never of interest to me. As a matter of fact, in high school I graduated 3rd worst in my class. However, after accepting Jesus as Savior, He changed me. He not only changed my heart, he instilled in me a desire for knowledge and academics, which in turn compelled me to want to teach. Today that goal was reached! Thanks, Lord, for helping me to fulfill another goal. |

Pastor Tim, I thank God for what He has started doing in your life. In fact, the goal is not yet achieved. You have a long journey to achieve the goal. You have now entered the race. Run steadily to reach the destination before you. Do not look back but look at the destination through your prophetic eyes. Keep your eyes fixed on Him only as you take upon this profession. There will be thorns on the way but these thorns should not deter you from pursuing the goal which is before you. Perseverence and long-suffering are required to achieve the goal before you.
My prayers are with you today.
"Oh God, I thank Thee for fulfilling the desire of the heart of my dear brother in Christ. Take him by holding his hands to the destination that you have marked before him. Hold him very tightly on his journey. Give him wisdom from above as he is going to teach the students at the university level. Let there be a mighty anointing of Thy Spirit upon him as he stands before the students. Let the students see the Christ in Tim. Let Tim decrease and the Christ Jesus of the gospels increase. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Pastor Tim, You've BEEN teaching at a university level for a long time on MyChurch! Wow, now you can get paid for it...but the financial blessing I'm sure is nothing compared to the spiritual blessing that your students get and you get teaching them...for you must DIG and STUDY and PRAY for God to use you to rightly explain the Word of Truth. Actually, we never get out of the student role...no matter how wise we become. He is our Teacher and at His feet we humbly sit. How I love the Lord for blessing MyChurch and my life...with you. <:))))>< Connie Radomski |

Hello Pastor Tim, I to am amazed at how God has changed my attitude and approach to learning. I am a real slow learner, I comprehend better when you show me. I have learned Bible knowledge by teaching children for the past 23 years. I praise God you have attained this goal. He shows us all things are possible. Nancy |

Congratulations Pastor Tim. I'm so excited for you. When we trust and obey God and lean not on our understanding, our dreams can come true.
