God is Faithful, and His Mercy and Grace are ALWAYS There

I've had this testimony in me for a long time, but I've never sensed to give it out so strong as I do now. I believe it is for everyone, but especially for those of you who are struggling with your faith, and it seams like you are saying "God why is it taking so long?" Or, "Help me, I need you right now". God can be in control of your life if you let Him. He is the author and finisher of your faith, but it is really up to you to determine how you let your faith be used in the situation you are in.
In 1990, in the 7th month of my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a complete placenta previa. For those who don't know what that is, it is where the placenta completely covers the cervix, which is where the baby is delivered. So there is no way that a normal delivery could happen in my case. This immediately took me out of work, and with alot of time on my hands. I was scheduled for an cesarean delivery on a Thursday, September 13th, but something happened. On Sunday night, the 9th of September, we were watching the gulf war on TV. I had sensed to go to the bathroom, and found myself bleeding profusely. And in a matter of minutes, with a blood soaked towel, found my husband, Mike and I on the way to the hospital for an emergency cesarean.
In that situation, honestly, we were in get-to-the-hospital-fast mode. Mike parked in front of the emergency entrance of the hospital, and they hurried us up to the maternity floor. In a matter of about a half hour, with Mike present, our son was born. Mike was the first to hold Caleb, and right then and there he dedicated him to the Lord.
Because it was an emergency c-section, I was not awake during the delivery. So while I was in recovery, Mike went down stairs to move the car, which was still parked in the emergency entrance. When he arrived, he came back to a wife in convulsions, with vidal signs dropping to almost nothing, and nurses screaming to get the doctor back for surgery because I was starting to hemorrhage. Right away, Mike started to pray. The nurses thought well, he's not freaking out, so let him stay. He stayed out of their way as they "worked" on me, and prayed quitely in the corner, in the Spirit and in English. I don't remember all that happened, but I do remember Mike coming over to me and saying "It's going to be alright". I do also remember praying in the Spirit during my convulsions. (Remember, whatever is in you will come out.)
After surgery, in ICU, Mike continued to pray. I was in ICU for 3 days. I went through 10 units of blood, and they still could not stop the bleeding. The doctor told us if they could not stop it I would have to have a hysterectomy, but that they could try a medication first to stop the bleeding. The only thing was the pain would be worse than going into labor. We chose, of course, the medication. Through this whole time, God had given me a scripture, and I thank God for His Word. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. This scripture kept going around in my spirit, in my mind, and in my body. I found myself waking up, numerous times, during that night, with it on my lips, in my spirit, and it was flowing out of me. When I would say it, I would include my body along with my heart and my mind. I was in the room by myself, and the Peace of God came in so strong, so thick. It filled the whole room with His Presence and it seamed like I was in a fog, I could not move because of His anointing. You will know when the Peace of God is present, there will be no doubt when you experience it, and you will never forget it. During this time, after taking the medication, I had no pain at all. None! And of course the bleeding totally stopped. He is your healer, your sustainer, your peace, your strength.
I talked to my wonderful night nurse in ICU later, and she told me, Mary, we really didn't think you were going to make it. I told her I had God with me, and He takes care of me. I had not doubt that He couldn't do anything less.
I'm thankful for a husband who knows how to pray and believe. It's important men, to be that spiritual head, that when you come to a situation like ours, you know what to do, and you know how to believe God for the answer. There was no one who knew what we were going through. We didn't call anyone for prayer, but we had Jesus interceding with us. He is ever interceding 24/7. If you are going through something today, call on the one who is ever faithful, ever merciful, and His grace will always be there for you. He will change your situation. You really have His Word on it!

Mom, I've heard this story alot of times, but I don't think I've ever appreciated it so much as now. God is the healer, no matter what the circumstance, God is the healer. I love you so much Mom, and Im so thankful for a Dad that prays, and is strong in the spirit.

Thank you for the great testimony. Very encouraging! We serve a great supernatural God who does great supernatural things for His children. May we never forget that God is able to do excceding abundantly above and beyond all we ever ask or think. I still struggle from time to time with faith for long-haul situations, get impatient, etc., but testimonies like yours keep me going.
