The bible can be much more than an inspired text or an historical account. It is the Living Word. What does that mean? Let me give you an example. My son had a fever one night a while ago. I got on my knees to pray and then opened the bible to a random page. The verse that jumped off the page to me was:

These are the kind of signs from God that blow your mind. But, it also makes you want to stop worrying, or worry less, and serve Him more. I guess it almost goes without saying that my son’s fever went away that night.
