Lord I want to learn!

Get me alone with You!

To a small town I was sent.

Visions of grandeur danced in my head.

But God doesn't want a star, one who plans to go far!

He seeks a lowly servant with Christ like spirit.

This is my place in the human race.

A place not well known nor with potential unlimited.

But the place God has chosen for me!

I wrote the above ten years ago in a devotion journal.  Little did I realize it would come back and minister to me ten years later.  I am starting my 33rd year here at Faith and my desire is still to have a Christ like spirit with a servant's heart.
