Six months into the marriage

I happy to say we are blessed in our marriage we have good days and bad days like inthe open sea there are waves,but through good GODLY counselor we are making in the sea of life called marriage!

Hey Shelly........I'll be celebrating 5 years of marriage on February 14th and I still don't know how, but GOD.  And I'm not trying to be spiritual.  We both were 33 when we married.  I had my own house, one daughter, 2 cars and a 6 figure job.........so I was good.  He had his own apartment, a daughter, a car, and a decent job.  The biggest problem was that neither one of us wanted to give up control........we both were so used to calling all the shots that it literally took 4 years for us to finally realize that we were working against each other and not together.  We still don't have it right, but at least now we are willing to work as ONE.  Marriage can definitely be a challenge if you have never been counseled on how to avoid and/or work through the many potholes in the road of life.  I'll be praying for you and your family.
