Holy Trinity Barkingside's photo gallery is an open access site which any signed-up church member can post photos on. If anyone posts a photo of you (or your children) which you don't want shown, please tell us and we will remove it immediately.
We note that certain organisations require written permissions from everyone in a photo (particularly in the case of children) before allowing it to be published. However, as far as we can ascertain, there is no legal requirement to do this. Facebook, for example, has millions of users, including many minors, posting many photos daily - and yet makes no attempt to check parental consents before allowing photos to be posted. It merely removes photos when there are good reasons to do so. We will therefore follow the same approach. |
