It's the beginning of a new year and I am off to a hectic start.  Currently, I am in New Jersey visitting family and friends.  Last Sunday with the help of many, we pulled off an early 2nd Princess Birthday party for my Johnaya.  She had so much fun.  I had a ball watching. 

2007 proved to be a very tough year, but patiently I continue to wait on Jesus in whom my strength is daily renewed.  Late last year, I embarked on my recent quest for physical, mental, and spiritual health and fitness.  It's no easy task, but daily I draw closer to God and I've lost 25lbs by working out regularly with TAE BO Amped and 3 mile runs on the treadmill.  Initially, I began the FIT 4 the King program with my church which just caused me to be more aware of what I was putting into my body and mind.  This is my year.  I have a goal to lose another 40lbs and to maintain a healthy weight and spirit til Jesus comes.  This is no easy task.  My husband has been very supportive and encouraging.  He would like me to fit into this black dress from '98.  I don't know if that'll happen, but the journey is proving to be fun and exciting.
