It sounds like a movie, but it's in fact the way I call our personal and intimate relationship with our Lord.
During our past vacations we went to Orlando and we spent hours standing in line just to watch, 10 min of one of the most amazing attractions “Shrek 4-D".
As many of you know “Shrek 4-D" is a multi-sensory, multi-media continuation of DreamWorks Pictures' Academy Award(R)-winning blockbuster "Shrek." Picking up where the movie left off, the attraction combines original 3-D animation, state-of-the-art digital cinema projection and audio systems, with unique in-theatre effects that audiences can see, hear and feel.
Before the movie starts you get a pair of glasses, specially designed to enjoy the full splendor of this production. The movie began and everyone is extremely attentive to each scene.
Just in front of me I saw a father doing his best to encourage his son to wear the glasses. The child was like 4 years old, and he looked quite satisfied with the image he watched. However, his father knows that there was more, so much more, and the kid was missing it all.
The father never gave up on that child during the ten minutes session, but no matter what he did, the son always found the way to keep doing what he was used to.
“Just give it a try son, and I promise it won’t be the same”, the father said. “I’m just fine” the son replied.
The face of frustration of that father was inexplicable, because he couldn’t accept the fact that his son set for less.
Then God told me, “take you glasses off” And when I did it, the whole splendor of the movie was gone. Yes, the movie kept running, I still seeing, hearing and feeling but the power was missing.
That’s exactly what happen when we set ourselves in one spiritual level, when we believe that we already got all, when we get used to our manners and traditions. Never stop the passion; never say I got it all.
Keep searching; get desperate my brother, get hungry my sister …DO NOT TAKE YOUR GLASSES OFF!
EXPERIENCE JESUS 4-D AND LET OTHER SEE, HEAR AND FEEL THE POWER THAT OVERFLOWS IN YOU!!!!
2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
