I have to continue to thank you! That was the best I've ever felt in all my years of ministry! It all worked, and it all came together, and it all was so very Spirit-filled for me. It was on the bottom of tonight's handout, but it bears repeating: My thanks to Fr. Sexton and Fr. Jose and all of you for entrusting me with this privilege. Thanks to Andrew Tygielski, Frank Campos and Dana Williams for the extra time. Thanks to Steve Olshavsky and Mike Zieman for help with sound and recording. Thanks to all the members of Vision Song and St. John s Music Ministry for their time and gifts. Thanks to St. John s School and Youth Programs for their inspiration. Thanks to the St. Pastoral Council for their support. And finally thanks to Terry, Trish, Lauretta, Joan and Sherry for their professional and loving vision that guides us day to day! Finally, there's so much more I could say; and some day (maybe tomorrow), God willing, I will! There's so much to do, so whattaya say we get started... tomorrow? There's so much more to know... Help us Lord and keep us focused on your Word, your Truth and your love! What's next? Stay posted and make good decisions with your time! Support the H2O and First Stop Projects! Attend Eucharistic Adoration Friday. Enjoy the Fish Fry and Stations this week and for the rest of Lent. READ THE BULLETIN and stay in-tuned! As for me... Friday we host a group of college retreatants in the Youth Room as they travel through on their way home to Ann Arbor, Michigan after working down on the Gulf Coast on their Spring Break! Saturday morning, the Confirmation Class heads out on a day's retreat at Joe Wheeler State Park. A team of our high school youth will be following our Mission Challenge by witnessing their faith to their peers who are seeking to be Confirmed! Sunday means youth groups and because its the first Sunday of the month, we'll have the 5:30pm Vision Song Mass! On Monday and Tuesday, I'll be taking a trip to work with student leaders from the Xaverian Brother's School System. These student leaders representing their schools in The Boston area and eastern and central Massachusetts, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Louiville, Kentucky meet each March for prayer and leadership training. I'll probably be sharing a lot of information from Tuesday night's Mission. God bless and thanks! Dedicated to Mom and Mr. Ed! |
