Tears on the Journey-UPDATED
Some nights may feel lonely. The wind may be howling. The air may be colder than usual. Even the blankets that covers may feel not as warm. People may be making fun of you and laughing at what you believe. Each joke, each saying feels as if a thousand knives may be poking right through your heart. Yes, some nights may feel lonely.
You may want to cry until there are no tears left. You may want to curl up in a ball until you fall asleep. You may be longing for someone's love or someone's acceptance. You may be just wanting to have someone smile at you with a loving smile instead of a laughing smirk. Yes, there may be pain inside.
My friends, this morning I want to tell you that sometimes there are tears along this journey of love. The tears birthed out of loneliness and pain. However, when one finds themselves in this spot along the journey toward love one should look toward God...one should look toward Love. For it is when one takes thier eyes off of the pain and focuses them upon what God has done for them, then they realize that they are not alone. Then the tears begin to stop. The pain begins to ease. The blanket seems to warm up. The night doesn't seem as long. Yes, that is when God steps in. When one chooses to trust in Him and to allow Him to love them, then the tears don't last that long. For it is written, though weeping may endure through the night, joy will come with the morning.
ADD ON:
So when you find that the morning is here, then one must give all glory and honor to God alone for getting you through the night. One must not be desiring to stay asleep and must remember that this life was not given to us for ourselves, but rather this life was given to us for the lost...the sick...and the dying.
My friends, we are not walking along this journey of love for ourselves. We go through each day...each night...each mountain peak....each valley low....for those that God will send us to. That is one of the key things to remember along this walk toward God's heart. That the things that He reveals to us are not for ourselves.
So now that morning is here...rejoice....lift up your voices....and praise God. For we have a journey of love to continue!
