Before I discovered MyChurch, my favorite website was E-Bay. I don't know why, since it has only added to the amount of clutter in my house. I sold home school books on there for a while. But the income was nothing compared to the work, so I stopped. My daughter found this video on YouTube and I thought it was a riot! So I wanted to share it with you. I think you will agree that my time is much better spent on MyChurch :) Enjoy the laugh!

| Sue, as you know, I too was an eBay junkie when I had the time. eBay actually took about 10x more of my time than MyChurch ever will! btw, Pastor Dan emailed me a link to this video a few days ago, but I still starred this b/c Dan never blogged it - LOL! |

Very funny video, however Ebay has it's uses. One just can't over use it. I only go there when I have a specific item in mind. I have a friend who has bought cars and horse trailers an who knows what else. I agree spending time here is far more productive. Thanks for the link Sue.

Glen, I still use E-Bay when I need something. Although I am very cautious after receiving a few dud auctions. But when there is something that is no longer in stock...E-Bay is the place to buy it!
Mike, I really thought you were going to get a kick out of this video. So I would not have been graced with a Mike n' Laura star if Pastor Dan beat me to posting?? lol (just kidding :) Good thing I do my homework and search before posting :) The funny thing is that I typed up a post on Friday and had it in my draft box for Sunday and Pastor Dan just about recited half of it at communion on Sunday, so I left it in draft and posted this. Now the E-Bay song! What's up with that??? :) |

| My favorite was the smurf tv tray!! Wow, I forgot that tv trays were once a staple in the American home!! LOL! As we say in this area, wicked funny song. I still use ebay--I was never a junkie but do love the deals I can get when I need to replace a piece of broken china. Oh, and when I have the time I actually sell stuff on there too. |

It has been recently brought to my attention that posting this video may have infringed upon copyright laws. While I try and find out the facts, I have changed the video to a link, so that it can still be viewed, but will take you to YouTube.
If I find that this is an infringement, I will delete the post. Does anyone know for sure? Can we post videos? How about links to videos? This is one of the first questions I asked when I first got started with social networking. The answer I got was that it was the responsibility of the original poster as to whether or not it was copyrighted. I have also always figured that if there was a problem, that it would be eventually removed. This particular song is post numerous times in various forms on YouTube. This told me that this one was okay. But is it?
So if anyone has this information, please do share. Because I really do care about doing what is right in the eyes of God and man. Thanks :) |
