I have recently watched some youtube videos on atheism and it has really surprised me how much they use the Old Testament to prove how Christians hide behind a mask of hate and stuff like that. I went and watched some of the videos and it surprised me how the said that Christians belittle women, while using Old Testament Jewish rituals to prove that. They said things like we are supposed to, (because it says in the bible) stone our kids when they do a certain thing wrong or something, don’t quote me because I don’t remember exactly what they said.

I say all this because it hit me that they are using the old testament to try and sway us and others away from Christianity, when Christianity isn’t really all about that. The Old Testament is, (to me), the history of how Christianity came to be and the foundation of Judaism. The Old Testament is not why we go by because... well we aren’t Jewish 1st off, and even Jesus spoke against how literally people were taking the Old Testament. So If you ever see or hear an atheist using the old testament against Christians... show them the truth, in a loving way of course. :)
