Read this very nice. Do yourself a favour and look at the series of Kent Hovind, I find it very interesting. He also got a website called Dr Dino and his theories make sense.

I never used that one Doyle.  I would just stare at them with big eyes and not say anything.  They thought I was afraid, which I sort  of was.  I liked to read my fiction more.

I started to do a word study on the various Hebrew words translated Leviathan.  I never finished it.  There's an interesting parallel to Caananite mythology.....most evil or evil gods in the religion of the Canaanites came from the sea...hence the biblical stories talking about God conquering various mosters of the sea.

I had the same discussion about dinosaurs with a good friend of mine. We did agree that a leviathon does describe a dinosaur like creature. Also i do not understand the way millions and billions of years are measured scientifically with our limited recorded history. Proof , real proof of His hand is all around us.Science has shown that the earth is tipped on its axis 23.5 degrees. Now if it was tipped just one half of a degree forward, we would burn to a crisp.Just one half of a degree backwards we would freeze. The placement of the earth in space also is a matter of real proof. Placed perfectly so as not to burn us or freeze us. Miles in space are very small. 500,000 closer, no life would be on earth.500,000 away from the sun and there would be no life on earth.

I always learn something when I read your blogs. although some of my relatives may act like monkeys I really can't trace them to apes. One genetic mother of all, Eve, one genetic father of all, Adam.  It's pretty simple.

The 23.5 thing is a myth.  The axis varies from 22-24 degrees.  So no, .5 degrees isn't going to cause us to fry or freeze or we'd have done so by now.  That's one of those famous no fact Christian science myths that's been told through the years.

Hey!  You've really done it this time!  GREAT BLOG!

This is great, Doyle!  I like that you told them a dinosaur ate your homework. :)

I think we agree, word/topic study of Hebrew can lead to so many interesting things.    Interesting to think about and that was a great word to study!  Keep up the great blogs!

Oh, Doyle!!!

My one year old Grandson got this wonderful Birthday gift.  It is a Cloth Cave with a big zipper on it and holes with stuffed animal heads sticking out.  They are so friendly!

You unzip it, and pull the animals....   they are all dinosaurs, every kind!  He was surrounded by them.  You should have seen his face!  He was struck silent!

AWESOME AS USUAL DOYLE!! I was just thinking about this the other day because I teach kids and I was thinking to myself what would I say to them if they asked me about dinosaurs and I really didn't know.
Also, at the very end when you write about a point of reference, it is so true! We each have our own reference point and how can we completely understand everything? A great anxiety for many people can come from the inability to know the beginning and the end of things when you don't have a realtionship with the Creator.
I love science, and technology, but when people use it as means to explain the meaning of life, it becomes sticky and hard to watch. That's what I used to do, so I know, thanks to Jesus, not anymore.
Thanks for your writings, they're always a treat!
