You may have noticed the 1 Thessalonians 5:11 verse popup in random places.  We know you might not always be blogging with bible verses in mind or sending out bulletins about our favorite brother Paul .. but it's just a gentle reminder of the neat part about being the Church. 

Encouragement.  A little goes a long way :).

And we hope this is encouraging as well.  Late yesterday we pushed a bunch of bug fixes and cleaned out our closets in terms of redundant db calls.  Cacheing member thumbnails made the Profile, Home, and Church pages nice and speedy.  Real Audio (.ram) files are now accepted in your media libraries.  With each follow-up comment email for blogs that you read, you can now unsubscribe from further follow-up comments.  You can now make your profile private to your friends and church.  

Blog RSS schedule tasks have been fixed as well as some bad links we created when we first updated the URL changes, like on your Home page's Recent Activity section.  If that all sounds uber-confusing to you.. just know that the basements and attics are a lot less dusty and free of cob webs and it's time to get going on some shiny new features.   (Especially those coming from all the great suggestions we get flooded with weekly).
