 I just discovered this book on the web and I was intrigued by the title. I haven't read this book yet but I love the title. The Bible is full of ordinary people who make some terrible decisions.
- David and Bathsheba
- Jonah on running away from God
- Abraham lying about his wife
- Samson in the barber shop
Well you get the point, God had a reason for this, I think. These were flesh and blood people who struggle just as we do everyday of our lives. So there is hope for us Jerks. 1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put to shame them that are wise; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong; |
