| Letting go of yesterday's blessings. |

Have you ever noticed how people talk about how things use to be and how they look back to things they did years ago and they kind of light up alomost like they would like to go back or they wish they were there.
In the Bible in the passage below we see that the Isrealite people had been complaining again and God delivers there bread from heaven. He is very clear that He provides enough bread for that day and enough for 2 days before the sabbath. But what we see here in the scripture is some tried to get more than they could use that day. They tried to hold on to yesterdays blessing. It says that the Manna became sour and full of worms. Yopu see God gave the Isrealites enough Manna for that day and he gave them the right amount the right vitamans , minerals, and fat content they needed for that day. But some wanted to hold on to that days blessings.
What we see in this scripture is the same thing many of us do. God blesses us and provides for us and delivers all we need and we try to hold on to that days blessing. We try to grasp hold as if that is the only blessing we will ever get. God had a new blessing the next day for the Isrealites He had a new Manna and new provisions.
I encourage you today to let go of yesterdays blessings. Understand that God has a new blessing and new manna for you today each day providing exactly what you need. Dont hold on to yesterdays blessings and miss what God has for you today!! 16:16 This [is] the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, [according to] the number of your persons; take ye every man for [them] which [are] in his tents. 16:17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. 16:18 And when they did mete [it] with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. 16:19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. 16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them. 16:21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
