16:24 And he, having such orders, put them into the inner prison with chains on their feet. 16:25 But about the middle of the night, Paul and Silas were making prayers and songs to God in the hearing of the prisoners; 16:26 And suddenly there was an earth-shock, so that the base of the prison was moved: and all the doors came open, and everyone's chains came off.
I was sitting in women's bible study last night and I felt God just moving in that room. It still to this day amazes me how God's word speaks to me. We are doing the bible study by Beth Moore: The Psalms of Ascent. To me, She is truly a woman of God. Well anyway, we were talking about Psalms 120, 121, 123, and believe 124. It was talking about how we should worship the Lord. It was let us know that we have to give ourselves totally to the Lord. In the lesson for the first week, it spoke of how we have to start a journey to Jerusalem. I tell you this, I have truly started a wonderful journey. I know that by the end of this study, the Lord will in some way, have helped me to grow in his word. I hope that the women who read this get the chance to read that Beth Moore Study. |
