Wednesday is the day for weekly devotions at THQ. This Wednesday as we concluded the devotion time, Chris Thomas came to close in prayer. He simply asked everyone to bow their heads and close their eyes. He then asked the question: "If anyone here is not sure that you will go to Heaven if Jesus comes back today, raise your hands." Several people raised their hands. He then asked them to pray the sinners prayer out loud as he led them. He then asked for a raise of hands of those who had accepted Jesus as their Savior just now. Six people raised their hands! Hallelujah! There were no sudden outbursts of emotion in that room, but Angels in heaven were rejoicing over those six people who accepted Jesus as their Savior!
This is what "Come Join Our Army" is all about! Inviting people into kingdom living. Thank you, Chris, for being sensitive to the leading of God The Holy Spirit by inviting people to join God's Army! |
