The Indians in this country really have gotten a raw deal.  I feel badly for them.

Thank you Doyle!

It really is something to think about, especially concerning disrespectful, law breaking, hostile people. Those willing to go through the process and laws of America and accept US as we are, are usually the type that do well in the process of becoming true citizens.

Yes it is just about as bad as it was back in those days with the Indians.

Deb, thank you for your star and comment. I agree with you that the Indians did get a raw deal.  Apparently, they were trusting and tried to accept those who came only to have their lives completely changed--forever, even though they were the orginal people here.  They surely did not think that would happen, but it did.  I don't know all the answers to how to solve the illegal immigration problems--but I do think it's a very real problem that Americans need to think about.   Thank you, Deb!

Grandmama, Thank you for your star and comments!

I think in terms that if a person invites someone to their house, so long as they follow the rules of the house--and uninvited people just move in, it shows disrespect in the first place.  I doubt many citizens would allow that in their private homes.  Our country allows new residents and always has.  Seems if a person wanted to live here it could be done with respect.
