its great to be open and honest with ourselves in regards to our inadequicies. Lots of times because we want people to think we're super spiritual we never let on that we are struggling in our walk. The truth is we don't see eye to eye with God ever, and we all always need an attitude and altitude adjustment, meaning we think to highly of ourselves than we ought and need to surrender and say I need you Lord, and I'm not on your level.

Loren, enjoy the peaceful time! lol I guess it's getting to a place where we can stay peaceful even in the storms. I don't know about you, but I ain't there yet!  I want you to know, though you surely do already, you aren't alone.  So many Christians now more than ever seem to be going through the refining fire almost constantly.  God said He'd do a quick work in the last days, and I think that means in us, and how else do we get refined and purged but through trials? Jesus is in that boat in the midst of the storm with us; that's the best of it!  And keeping our eyes on Him.  I know I lose sight and hope, but He never changes and is always there.
