| Your Confession is... |

People confess all kinds of things these days and we are expected to happily accept some of the most perverted ones, but who is willing to confess Christ? Many Christians happily acknowledge a denominational allegiance, but not everyone gladly confesses Jesus Christ in public. Some people willingly acknowledge a certain Christian morality or even a particular political or social stance as being Christian. How many willingly declare Jesus as the center of their faith? What did Christ say about public confession of his name?
In Matthew 10, Jesus taught his first pupils that those who denied him on earth, he would deny in heaven, but that those who acknowledge him publicly, he would acknowledge before God the Father in heaven. What about you and me? How willing are we to profess Jesus in public? It's a daunting prospect at times, especially among those who you know will only harass you. However, if we remember that we will be acknowledged in heaven, it gives us courage to be bold in a godless world. 10:32 So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; 10:33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
