| The Power to Bless or Curse |

18:4 The words of a man's mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a gushing stream.
What are your words filled with? Are they filled with grace, love, mercy, wisdom and life? We are the containers that words flow from, and we must be careful what we allow to flow from us. Words carry power, they have the power to bless or curse, to produce life or death, to produce failure or success.
Let us purpose to be fountains, streams and rivers that flow with words of wisdom and life. May our wells be a source, where others can come to be refreshed, replenished and revived!

| The words of our mouth are very powerful just as you said and we should think carefully and be guided by the Holy Spirit before speaking. I wish I could say I do this all the time but I don't and all I can do is strive everyday to become the person God wants me to be. God Bless |

I too wish I could say I get it right every time. But the truth is, I don't. Thank God, he causes us to be honest with ourselves and then we can trust Him to help us do better. This is my favorite Proverbs 18:21 Death and life is in the power of the tongue: and they tha love it can eat the fruit thereof. The tongue is such a small member, but with it you can speak life or death upon yourself as well as others. Do not allow anyone to speak negative things to you or
about others. Refuse to be a part of it. It's just the enemy up to his old tricks again. FOILED
