Revelations 20:15: And Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Going to the mall is always a treat for me and my family, every now and than we go to do some shopping “mostly window” because we don’t have the money to buy anything, but non the less we have a lot of fun eating in the food court.
The other day we went to the mall, but just before we entered my daughters instructed me not to embarrass them, “Now why would they say that?” its probably because I always do something like dance to the mall music, talk to people I don’t know, or just make up a fake survey and question people with some dumb question!
“yea That’s it!” and that was the case this time. While my daughters were in line to get pretzels , I pulled out my pin and walked over to them while people were around and simply asked
“Would you like to have my Autograph?” my oldest child looked up with an embarrassing smile and said “Dad go sit over there , your not a star and nobody even knows you!” So I asked the person behind them “someone I didn’t know,” would they like to have it? Much to my surprise the person asked “ Who are you?” As I began to tell the lady who I was, my other daughter pulled me over and placed me in a much needed time- out. “Funny right!” As I thought of this question , something happened that made all the sense in the world.
When Jesus ask for your Autograph will your name be written in the lambs book of life? Or will you need a time- out too? |

Keith, I so love your Holy boldness... now we all should take lessons. You go brother, do what you have to do... you never know who will need a friendly conversation, laced with Jesus.

Nice Blog! You, my dear Bro, should be a powerful soul winner! It is good to know siblings in Christ that does not think it strange to talk/speak to the unknown and know that you will get some kind-of-a response. Now if you had come into the place with a security force of men surrounding you then everyone would have been intrigued to find out who you were and would have wanted your autograph regardless of who you were.
Strange as it may seem: Many people flock to the malls and other places during the Christmas season to sit on a mans lap (Santa Claus) of whom they don't know and many kids want his autograph but do the parents know who is behind the mask and the suit.
Do we portray the image of Christ for people to find us inviting to here the word of the Lord.
I suggest that you ask your kids what do they think of daddy and what kind of leader/preacher do they think of daddy as being. Maybe they don't understand your style of fun and ministering/witnessing and what the definition of outgoing is. If they find it hard to see you doing what you do then would they have put Jesus in timeout also. Not understanding can cause us to limit our view of what God has put in us to do perhaps even them. I don't think it strange to dance in public and so forth so in many ways our spirit seem to be alike. I would take my companion's hand and dance in the middle of the isle in the grocery store just because being with her in that moment of time showed me the highlight of love and I wanted to express it. There was no groping or dirty dancing or anything of that sort just a simple slow dance. I did get pats on the back and men and women both tell me me that I was a true man, that was my autograph. I look on times like that and I feel that I am ministering to the world within that place. This is how Christ loved the church and He loved/s us and is not ashamed of being embarrassed to express His love toward us. This can make people want your autograph if not a word that can help and empower them on their journey through life. Forgive me I kinda got on a soapbox, but I do feel it is all relative. Be and stay blessed and continue to allow the joy of the Lord to teach you to express your love and passion of being FREE in Jesus. Love ya and your spirit!
Your Bro, friend, & fellow-servant, Apostle SM3 Senior Overseer of Empowering Word Ministries
A word: If you reach out; you may turn one that was an enemy to a friend. If you don't reach out; you may find friends turning to enemies... Blessing to you all in Christ Jesus! |

Laura- I love to have fun in everything I do, sometime you have to laugh to keep from crying! Pastor A- would you go to the mall with me? It would be a hoot! Cheryl- I love to torture the girls, I tell them not to worry about a prom date because I will be going with them with striped pants, and Payton leather shoes on. LOL! Apostle- The kids are in tune to what I do and know the reason for it, but sometime they think its over the top! Lol, They understand it's to bring souls to Christ! |
