| You Have Touched My Heart |
|
| |
12:31 The second is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
I know it's been a while since I've blogged on anything, mainly because of my schedule and trying not to succumb to exhaustion. To all my friends here on MyChurch, I just want to say you are more than just a name/photo on my page. You have been a blessing to me in so many ways and I just want to publicly state that you've touched my heart. In your own way through your blogs, you have allowed me to share apart of you, your world, your walk with the Lord and for me this is special. I'm very visual so when you write your blogs, I see it through images. I see the warmth, the laughter, the inquisitive, the caring, the hopeful, the funny and the love that oozes from each blog. Most importantly, you have allowed me to be myself, and I words cannot express how much that means to me. (Yes, I still hate to write) For example, many times on the E-telecast, I've made mistakes…. i.e.; saying go to John 15:6, when I meant John 15:16… just to name a few, and you have overlooked my human-ness. Your comments, your emails with words of encouragements always came just at the time that I needed them the most. Doing the telecast is a lot of work, and once or twice I thought about taking it down… (now you know that's an attack straight from the enemy), thinking that is wouldn't matter, because not many people are watching it. But I thank God, for the Holy Spirit who teaches me that it's not my job to worry about who watching, but it's my responsibility to be obedient. Then along comes another email, another thank you and God letting me know that this work is not in vain. I want to give each of you a shout-out by name, but I dare not, for fear of leaving someone out. Just know that I appreciate you for who you are. Know that I do include you in my prayers, and even though I haven't had time to read all your blogs, lately, that I do think of you because you have touched my heart in a special way. Thank you Pastor, I feel the same as you do. Thank you so much for writing this note telling us how you feel, I know how you feel about wanting to take something down, and than that note comes with someone sayings "Thank you"! Thank God for you and the Holy Spirit for leading you to do things we would otherwise not do. Thank you so much. |

Love you, sister! Your more-frequent presence here is sorely missed, but we all understand the need to prioritize and balance our time. We're all in that boat. I like to dream about having a MyChurch reunion here in Montana some summer and inviting everyone to come visit. What fun it could be! (We're only a few hours from both Glacier and Yellowstone Natl. Parks.) Peanut butter cookies would be on the menu every day... :-) Thanks for sharing your heart! |

I have missed your blogs, and I can't get your e-telecasts (I have tried the one for dial up and my connection is still to slow), so I miss out on that. I would watch them if ever I get high speed! Right now it isn't an option where we live, without paying an arm and a leg. I appreciate your thoughts here, and think an awful lot of you. |

Lara - Let me tell you, I so make mistakes... and well it apart of being human and the one thing that I never want to happen is for anyone to put me on a pedestal... yuck! I am the epitome of Amazing Grace .... that saved a wretch like me....
Deb- Bless you, you are such a dear. I'm sorry about the dialup thing... I'm still new at online video, but it has me thinking.... most people can see the youtube stuff right? I think I'm gonna try something.
Jen- I can't even type your name w/o thinking of peanut butter cookies! Hold on to that thought of a MyChurch reunion.... I believe that one day it will happen... what a wonderful thing that will be. Oh how I would love to see Montana.... the only thing I know about it is from old western movies.... I can only imagine.... |

Jen - if there's to be a MyChurch shindig, it should be in Montana!
Pastor Aminata - what a sweet note! (And you know, if you didn't make your "I hate to write" so obvious, we could do a "Where's Waldo" sort of thing. We all know it's there someplace, now if we could just find it!!!
The un-closed paranthesis is for Norm's sake. I'll bet you didn't even notice it, but Norm is a lot like Monk, he hates that sort of thing.
Doggone we miss you around here, my Pastor lady friend!!!!! |
