Hello Juan,

Thank you for being so open with us.
Most folks don't like others to see their vunerable side.
 I applaud you for that.
We are striving for perfection,we have not made it yet.( if we were void of mistakes than I believe we would not be here in this imperfect world but in a place were only perfect people dwell.
Which sounds a lot like that place we call heaven.

Because we still make the wrong choices at times at what we do,think,or say.We Know that we
have a merciful Father that knows and cares,He know our weaknesses. So what is left for us to do
is to repent, ask forgiveness, rely upon God's amazing forgiveness and grace to restore us back to our rightful place.  Pull yourself up and keep moving forward . Don't dwell on your past mistakes, just do the nescessary steps for receiving forgiveness and keep on steppin!

This incident with your son may not be the last,"But God's Grace Is Sufficient. "

Good blog!  Just because we try to set good examples, doesn't mean we aren't allowed to screw up from time to time.  We all do it.  Just apologize and tell your son you were wrong to react that way.

I love how God can use even my mistakes for good:

Romans 8:28   (Amplified)
We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

Juan, We are human, we will make mistakes.  Trust me I lost it just last Friday and you know what?  I went to God and gave Him control.  It sounds to me that this situation was out of worry about your son.  May I humbly suggest you do as I did with my brother, go to him and ask forgiveness.  God will be there and you'll be amazed at the outcome. God Bless You and I will be praying.

juan, Hola, i saw Jess's response and was reminded of:

3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 3:21 unto him `be' the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen.

Trust in Jesus, He has a plan...{you know that what am I saying...jajaja}  Chow chow!

How beautiful when we can confess our faults one to another and know with out a doubt
that the very thing that you have gone through that someone else is going through it also'
and that your testamonie will help that person be able to go on in spite of our mistake we make and be able to hold our head up knowing that God is a  forgiving God.
and I pray that you look at this situtation as a tool for growing  I surely will.

Most of us parents have been there and done that. The important thing is your heart to love your son and treat him as your Father treats you. I often had to apologize to my children, not for correcting them but for doing it in the wrong spirit. It's very humbling but helps restore the relationship. They are all grown now and we (my husband and I) have great relationships with them and their spouses and children. So I guess our method worked :)

A star for your insight in this blog!
