Hubby & I attended this saturday. We had a wonderful time>>watching >>we arnt ready for the plunge yet.
Some 2,400 people raised more than $800,000 in pledges for Special Olympics New Jersey. woooohoooooooo
here is the artical from todays paper;

SEASIDE HEIGHTS — Temperatures were hovering just above freezing. The wind was light, but it still stung. The sun was obscured by light-gray clouds. All in all, it was a regular Saturday in February.

Except 2,400 people stripped down to their bathing suits, and charged the Atlantic Ocean's pounding gray-and-white surf to raise money in the 15th Law Enforcement Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics New Jersey.

Ok, the Atlantic is cold enough in August let alone in February. I don't think I will ever be a Polar Bear Swimmer!!!!

I won't go into the Atlantic off our coast in August, never mind February!!!! I'll skip the Polar Bear Swim thanks so much!

Brr that child me to the bone thinking about it, but it was awesome to see for a great charity.
