| The Colors of Society |

Okay, I know this is a lame metaphor, but I believe every person in every society is a color.
Is this person a bright color? or is that person a dark color?
Either which way, that person makes a difference in the color spectrum of their social group. Some colors of course, are more noticeable than others, for example:
George is a star athlete. He has a great personality, is an extrovert, and is smart to boot. He is a bright color. George is widely loved in his school, in his home, and basically, wherever else he goes. He is noticed.
However, Gregory is an introvert. He is extremely shy, and doesn't like too much appraisal. He is afraid to stand up for what he wants, or what he thinks is right. He has a good personality, perhaps he is even kinder than George, he is extremely smart as well, however, because of his shy tendencies, he is largely unnoticed. He is an almost transparent color.
There are also those that are just as noticed as the extremely bright colors, but belong to the other side of the spectrum:
Clint is a total jerk. He is prideful, and he bullies others around. He gets answers for his homework from Gregory, via bullying. He is the scum of the school, the scourge of society, and the grief of his home. He is just as noticed as George, but in a totally different way, in infamy.
Now, my point is not classification of society, or a meter as to where one belongs in it, but to ask you all some questions:
What do you believe you could be classified into? Are you a bright color? Dark? Translucent?Do you stand up for what you believe in, or for what is right? Do you stand up for what is wrong? Or do you simply fade away into obscurity?
Another Question:
Do you think that you will be at all remembered other than by those very close to you, say if you move to another country in the next 5 minutes? Would people at school, or at your work recognize your absence? Would they mourn? Would they cheer?
And finally:
How do you believe your "color" has exemplified Christian life?
Think about it.
(P.S. I myself will not answer in typing my answers to these questions, I don't want to be viewed as a conceited child, or as the center of a sob story. Hopefully this blog doesn't offend you, I just chose to think over things for a few minutes...you know, ponder life? Have a nice day, thanks for reading)
