Yes I wrote it that way on purpose. Certified...Certifiable. I don't think most of my friends that too hard to believe at this point.

Actually, after about three years of putting it off, I finally took (AND PASSED...YAY!) my Microsoft Certified System Administrator Certification exam on Saturday, February 23rd. Granted, this certification is for Windows/Server 2000 Systems, but it's a big step for me. If I can squeeze one more certification exam before the end of March, I can upgrade to Server 2003.

I loved my mom's response to getting this certification. "You mean you're now certified to do your job?!" That's pretty much what it means indeed. She wasn't playing it down, just being silly.

My wife, as always, has been incredibly supportive of me throughout my studying and preparing for this exam.

Speaking of my wife...she and I are going to New York City in April for a long weekend. While there, we will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. I've never been to NYC and she hasn't been since she was 17 years old. We're both looking forward to this so much. We're planning to see "Phantom of the Opera" while there and she apparently has a surprise restaurant she wants to take me to while we are there. I know we are going to have a blast!
