UPDATE: It has been brought to my attention that both the videos I had posted have been shut down on youtube for supposed "copyright infringment". Hmmm, interesting. LOL That figures! I am sure Oprah or her staff had it removed from youtube because of all the negative feedback she was getting from it. But I don't see how it is copyright infringment??? It is just a clip from HER own show with HER own words coming out of HER own mouth!!!! Why try and take it back now? What was said is said and she shouldn't try and hide it after the fact. She should stick to it if it is what she believes. Anyway... I was able to find one so you all can watch it and hear for yourselves. I knew I would find it. I browsed through tons of archives on her site and couldn't find it. SOOOOOOOO I decided to do a google search and FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!! Click the link. The video clip is embedded in the site. "Oprah and Friends" to teach course on New Age Christ
This is very discouraging news to hear about one who has such tremendous influence on the general public.
Just to make sure this was true, I went on Oprah's web site and there it is. The below article is very interesting, so I thought I would share.

Jesus Christ being reinvented, redefined, and blasphemed and, this false New- Age Christ teaching is about to make huge inroads into the world, with the help of the queen of television talk shows, Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah Winfrey, beginning January 1, 2008, on her daily radio program will offer a year-long course on the New Age Christ , in a lesson a day and completely cover the 365 lessons from the Course in Miracles "Workbook."
Listeners will be encouraged to buy A Course in Miracles for the year-long course, and an audio version, recited by Richard (John Boy Walton) Thomas will be available on compact disc.
Those who finish the Course will have a wholly redefined spiritual mindset-a New Age world view that include the beliefs that there is no sin, no evil, no devil. A Course in Miracles teaches its students to rethink everything they believe about God and life, and, bluntly states: "This is a course in mind training" and is dedicated to "thought reversal."
The Course in Miracles -in reality-is the truth of the Bible turned upside down.
Oprah told her television audience that Williamson's book, A Course in Miracles was one of her favorite books, and that she had already bought a thousand copies and would be handing them out to everyone in her studio audience. Oprah's endorsement skyrocketed Williamson's book to the top of the New York Times bestseller list .
A Course in Miracles is allegedly a "new revelation" from "Jesus" to help humanity work through these troubled times. This "Jesus"-who bears no doctrinal re semblance to the Bible's Jesus Christ-began delivering channeled teachings in 1965 to a Columbia University Professor of Medical Psychology, Helen Schucman.
One day Schucman heard an "inner voice" stating, "This is a course in miracles. Please take notes." For seven years she diligently took spiritual dictation from this voice that described himself as "Jesus."

Popular author Wayne Dyer told his PBS television audience that the "brilliant writing" of A Course in Miracles would produce more peace in the world.
The Course in Miracles-based book, Forgiveness, continues to be sold in Robert Schuller's Crystal Cathedral bookstore as Schuller prepares to host a January 17-19, 2008, "Rethink Conference" at his Crystal Cathedral.

I speak conviction over Oprah and that the fear of the Lord would fall upon her. That she may experience Jesus like Saul of Tarsus did and once and for all receive sight! May her influence be used for the advancement of the Kingdom of GOD and that her ties to the devil be severed in the mighty name of Jesus!
Oh no. In the first video she's quoting from "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn?! Two atheist friends and one (weak) Christian friend recomended that book to me. The book is flawed on a fundamental level, is relativism blather, and sets itself up in opposition to Christianity. I wrote on this book in my blog.
This is not surprising. I heard a CD discussion about Oprah's spiritual leanings a couple of years ago, and the speaker claimed that she was merely waiting for the opportune time to plug this course. I guess this year of "New Beginnings" might have equal significance to the New Age crowd.
This is when my fav casting crowns song falls in to place its like the band new what was going to happen. the part of the song that i love(ps its called what if his people prayed) it go "STOP ASKING OPRA WHAT TO DO!" Its like people think she is our god!
FYI: Ok everyone... I just wanted to let you all know that I added an update to this blog. Just scroll up. Many have told me that the videos from youtube were no longer working. So I found it since some wanted to watch it.
This does not surprise me about Oprah. The Lord gave me the spirit of discernment regarding her several years ago. Haven't seen or listened to her since.
I used to love her show and watch her every so often. But once I heard this show that I posted the clip of... The Lord truely opened my eyes!!! I haven't watched her show since.
