Seldom do people reflect on how powerful these three words truly are. I would like to encourage Christians to slow down and be re-introduced or reminded about the love of God, and finding the real purpose for their lives and helping them realign their day-to-day activities, time and resources to match God's kingdom priorities.

I truly believe, just as it is required by regulated laws that employers alot certain periods of break/lunch times for their employees, the same should be applied for Christians to take moments from their regular routines, and nourish their spirit. Mabe just walking away from your desk, and taking your eyes off your computer for a brief time to simply say "Thank you Jesus" or " I love you father".

As a woman, I can say, I truly get butterflies still when my husband walks up to me when I am not expecting it, and he just hugs me from behind, and whispers I love you in my ear, or when one of my children looks up from doing their homework at the kitchen table while I am cooking dinner and says "I love you mom". Moments like this cause a flutter in my heart that can only be described as sheer joy.

True transformation in our hearts can only (and will only) take place if God's Spirit is influencial in some measure of your every... day routine. Deep in our hearts we are changed more and more into His likeness by the move of His Spirit and we can see it happening during these moments of expressed  affection.  As Jesus becomes more and we become less, and our lives are marked more by Him than our own plans, our own agenda or our own strategy. This transformation takes place through the power of prayer and meditating on the God's Word. Feeding our soul with the reality of His love for us and then sharing this love with those around us is life-changing. 

By daily encountering Jesus through prayer and by showing that "Christ-like love" to those around us, we will get to know more of God's heart for our lives and for those we love.  By God infiltrating us more and more, His presence can be appreciated as a true gift and a miracle. The understanding of God's intimate love for YOU has the power to transform your life ... your home, your neighborhood, your business or workplace, your city, your state ... our country, our continent and all the nations of the world!

So... the next time you say the words " I love you" consider just how powerful these simple words are.
