Thank you for the link. I'm glad he's with Jesus.

Wow. I am finding myself at a loss for words. Larry's music always touched me in ways that few others could. I know that he is by far happier to be where he's at, and I imagine that he's already finding himself overwhelmed by the completeness of the Fathers love. May his joy now ne complete, without the frailness of fallen humanity. God bless you brother.

This is a very good remembrance Don. I also read Glenn's and Dennis' posts about Larry's passing. I must say the news (which I only learned of here on MyChurch - I don't get out much)really took me by surprise. I will miss him too. Actually, I have been missing him ever since he stopped recording. Thanks Don!

I met Larry Norman in the mid 70s in Virginia when he spent the afternoon with some friends of mine near Woodstock Virginia.  I was struck by his radical conviction that a Christian should be deeply involved in humanity at it's lowest levels... out of the church buildings and into the streets if you will.  At the time we were winding down things in Vietnam and several of our group were members of the military and Larry had some pointed questions about how a Christian member of the military would likely have to make some hard choices regarding serving Christ and carrying out the dutys required in the army.  He played a concert that evening in Front Royal that was memorable to say the least.

Thanks for sharing with us Larry.  We will do it again some time.
