Who's hindering the weaning process?

To add a comment to "Who's hindering the weaning process?"

My dear Bro/Evang. Keith. This was a very true and profound word that many need to take heed to, because of the clear consequenses that lead to the pacifing of the saints today. Are we really more effective because we have modified the church today and have masses coming to us for pacification rather that revealation. God is not interested in pacifiing the saints but revealing sin so that we chose to allow Him to remove it. Just as we should do with our children. As you Bro/Evang. so eloquently put it. When the child is in need we give it the necessities, but when the child gets older, their needs change. They need us to help them identify what they need, so that they can become independant and participate in the growth of the network. In turn we help them to grow beyond the baby stuff and into a more mature life and seeking the hand of Jesus that they would learn their purpose.

~A Simple Outline~
An infant: will constantly approach their overseer for what is means to surrender (crying)...

A toddler: will come asking questions for a understand of what certain things are why the word and what is the reason for the bible (What's that, what's this, why)...

An adolescent: Is in need of direction, and how to live with growth and independence (show me how to do I do this or that, where do I go and how do I get there)...

A teen: I need more room to grow, and more space (I'm not a baby anymore)...

An adult: Let us stand together, and reason with one another (thank you for life Heavenly Father, now where do I go from here, and what do you expect of me)...

This is what the church should be doing instead of tryiing to put coffee shops in the church to make people comfortable. As it is wisely said, if you only spent your monies with your people you will find a loss of finances because you will still have to purchace from outside of the church and who do you win if you don't go to the worldly places (coffee shops, movies, and the sort) that is where the non-believers are not hanging out at but not at the the holy church coffee shop meeting centers. We pacify those that we have been given charge over. Whether in our house or His house. Can't stand whining children either but He give us what we need until we grow to become responcible to except our actions and choices. If you notice it is often the mature christian that gets what they pray for because the infant knows not what is best for them. My beloved Brother and fellow-worker or the Power of Christ. I have truly enjoyed this blog and I shall return to wwitness the responses of our Siblings in the faith as they too come to admire this timely word and insight. Sounds like someone is stepping out of the boat (smiling). Again, blessings and love to you, your house, and the followers of whom the Father has comitted to you that you may point to Him.

Your beloved Bro, friend, & fellow-servant,
Apostle SM3 ~Senior Overseer of Empowering Word Ministries

PS. Let's pray for one another and the flocks of our charge.
