The only one I am afraid of getting in trouble from, is the Father for not sounding the alarm!

6:16 Thus saith Jehovah, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls: but they said, We will not walk `therein'. 6:17 And I set watchmen over you, `saying', Hearken to the sound of the trumpet; but they said, We will not hearken.
33:4 then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning, if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him; whereas if he had taken warning, he would have delivered his soul. 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned, and the sword come, and take any person from among them; he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

I like that, "they depend on you instead of looking for me".  To me a minister is like a lighthouse:  he warns one of impending danger, he protects one from shipwreck, but mostly he points the way to the Harbor.   And guess what, once in the Harbor, no one on the ship remembers the lighthouse; it's work is done.

Vincent, true, what use is a light house if the light has gone out. It then becomes an eye-sore, something to be despised and torn down. Too many of our shepherds have become a laughing stock to the world, and a shame to the Christian community, but because they have the status of "Reverend", "Doctor" or "Preacher", we don't confront them. We just shake our heads and move on, closing our hearts and minds to the problem, thus saying that their actions are acceptable.

Because of this Angela, we have home church, our family has witnessed too many times the corruption behind the pulpit, and when we address the issues, we have been told to leave, so we dust our feet and leave, or refuse to continue to fellowship with those that refuse to repent,  praying that the Father will continue to work on their hearts.

The thrashing is beginning, many of the fellowship will fall away due to a lack of worldly "stuff", when the money dries up, so will their faith. We must hold up and support the weaker ones, when we see them falter, do more than say "I will pray for you". We must go out of our way, give up our own coats, go the extra mile, help those that have their hearts on the fence, because when the shaking trully begins, there will be so many that fall to the way side!!!!
