Beautiful Music

I listemed to some truly beautiful music tonight. I watched a pbs concert called Celtic Women,  I have heard celtic music before and found it melodic and wonderful. These women had truly inspired voices. The show was done in Ireland in front of a true castle in Dublin. At night. They had an entire orccestra (I know I spelled that wrong). It was just beautiful. One song in particular stood out to me, 4 women sang "Over the Rainbow" acapella. I do not have words for how truly amazing it was.This was truly a joyful noise. I love all kinds of music. Psalm 100 is one of my favorite passeges in the Bible.

100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he [is] God: [it is] he [that] hath made us, and not we ourselves; [we are] his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name. 100:5 For the LORD [is] good; his mercy [is] everlasting; and his truth [endureth] to all generations.

I love them too. I treated myself to one of their CD recently.  Their voices are an amazing gift from God. I am very thankful that they chosen to share their gift.  If I am stressed, anxious, nervous about something, I can listen to these ladies sing and it calms my body so I can then move forward to attack whatever the trigger for those feelings is.
