136:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.



  Dear people,

I am a happy kid! [At least for the moment.] I have GOD on my side, a family that loves me, five pets that love me, three bff's that love me, and a house to live in [However small it may be!] I must admit, that sometimes I have not been grateful for ALL I have, and I asked GOD to forgive me for doing so. So many times we look at what we don't have, and tell GOD how bad he is for not giving us what we want, and forget to thank him for what we have!! Lets say that you have a handful of grapes, lets also say you forget you have the grapes, because you are looking at a big juicy cheese burger in a glass case with a lock. Well, you get mad at GOD for not letting you have the cheese burger, and you dont thank him for the grapes. [Not saying my bff's are grapes!]

5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;


  So you see? GOD even tells us to be thankful for all things!  So I was wrong to be ungrateful for what he has given me!

Wow! I've just had a Sunday school lesson and learned a lot more than what I actually learned in my morning worship service today! Thank you sweet child of God!

Faith,

     Sometimes as a mom, you start to doubt if you have really taught your kids all you should have and if they really understood all the lessons you gave them to ponder on.  At times you feel so overwhelmed with thoughts of defeat and failure as a parent, that you start to doubt your children's future based on your mistakes.  BUT, when I read things like this, or hear some of the great words of wisdom you extol upon your listeners, I begin to seek Gods forgiveness for seeing only the negative.  You have surpassed our greatest expectations and made your father and I so very proud of you!!  You have not only encouraged others, but you have encouraged your mommy!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

     Making Jesus Christ LORD of your life, and feasting on HIM every day of your life, is our MAIN prayer for you!  This segment entitled, "Hello", shows us you are working daily to achieve just that!! 

     Know that your daddy and I are so proud of WHO you are, JUST AS you are!  We love you so much!
