I have a prayer request.

One of our friend's brothers has been given 3 weeks to 3 months to live due to an inoperable brain tumor. He had a tumor 6 years ago and underwent treatment. The tumor practically disappeared, much to the Doctor's surprise. Two months ago he went for a routine MRI and a second tumor was discovered. He re-started the treatment immediately. Two weeks ago he went for a follow up MRI and the second tumor had been halted, however, out of the blue, the original tumor has gone completely haywire. It was at that point the Doctors gave him the grim news that he was expected to live no more than three months. In the past few days his condition has deteriorated at lightning speed to the point that today he is unable to even lift his head. The hospice doctors (who are with him at the house) told the family that it will probably only be a couple of days before he loses the battle.

Rob is 39 years old. He has a wife and 2 children - 8 and 5. He has no life insurance.

He and his brother Drew (our friend) lost their mother last year to a sudden heart attack.

I would ask that you lift this family up in prayer. Especially Drew who will have lost his two closets relatives within a year of each other. I ask that you will pray that Drew will understand that God has a plan. That there is a reason for all of this. That it is his will. How hard must it be for the surviving family members? How do you tell Rob's children what is happening to their daddy?

So hard and so sad yet it is all in God's hands.
